the Squires Family

Recently the Squires family came to the studio for a photo session of the two boys and the whole family together. It is always fun to see the family come to the studio. We took some indoor photos of Ashton and Taylor and then went out in the alley downtown for some fun family photos. I love the photo below. (especially in black in white for the timeless feel.) Aliya

Aliya came to the studio for her three year old photos. Her session was filled with lots of fun and bright colors. Aliya even brought her Tinkerbell table and tea set. We had a little tea party and Aliya makes yummy tea! My favorite photos from the session is the one below. I love the pink and her smile is just precious! Be sure to check out the video for more!

Kristi and Zack

On Saturday, June 19th, we traveled to Crooks, South Dakota for the wedding of Kristi and Zack. Kristi and Zack were such a wonderful couple to work with and their wedding was wonderful as well. They had a perfect warm and sunny day with blue skies. We also photographed the couple at the scenic Japanese Garden in Sioux Falls, SD. Along with the park we also went to a gas station to get a few photos. Zack and Kristi met in a gas station so photographing at the station was perfect for the couple! Katelyn

Katelyn came to the studio for her nine month photos. It is so fun seeing her every three months to see how much she has grown and changed. As always it was so much fun to photograph her and she has the cutest smiles! One of my favorite photos from the session is below. She brought her favorite bear along too! Samantha and Andy

We recently photographed the engagement session of Samantha and Andy. For their session we did some indoor photos at the studio and at the diner scene at the Lyon County Museum. We went downtown for some urban shots and then to Camden State Park for some beautiful shots in the nature. One of the favorites from the session is the photo below. This was taken in Camden State Park where the couple actually had their first date. I love the long grass for the background. We can't wait to photograph the wedding of Andy and Samantha later this fall. Be sure to check out the video for more!

Shayna and Chris

This past Saturday the wedding of Shayna and Chris brought us to Minneota, MN. Chris and Shayna's wedding was full of shades of pink, beautiful details, and gorgeous flowers. Even though it did rain quite a bit that day, it did clear up for us to take some photos outside the church in Minneota. The ceremony was lovely with beautiful music. Charlene and Jamie

On Friday, June 11th, we traveled to Wagner, South Dakota for the wedding of Charlene and Jamie. Charlene and Jamie were a stunning couple. You could see the love they have for each other though out the entire day. The rain stayed away and allowed us to get wonderful photographs at Wagner Lake with the couple and the wedding party. We also went to a farm with Charlene and Jamie for some great farm photos with a John Deere tractor! Jamie and Charlene are a great couple and it was such an honor to capture their day. Whitney and Fred

I recently photographed the engagement session of Whitney and Fred. They were such a wonderful couple to photograph, very nice and up for anything! We took some photos in the studio and went on location to the laundry mat and downtown Marshall. My absolute favorite photos from the session are the ones from the laundry mat. I love the setting. Amanda and Aaron

The wedding of Amanda and Aaron brought us to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. It was a beautiful day and their wedding could not of been more perfect. Aaron and Amanda are such a wonderful couple and their love for each other was inspiring. Vibrant shades of lime green accents were gorgeous for the photos at the park with the wedding party. We even took the bride and groom downtown for some urban bridal shots (many of these are my favorites!!). The couple had a beautiful ceremony and reception.
