Mason - Eggstra Special Easter

Mason came to the studio for the Eggstra Special Easter mini photo shoot. Mason is 18 months and did a great job. The feature photo from the session is my favorite from the shoot. Even though he isn't smiling or looking like he is having fun I love it. Don't we all have these days where we really do not want to put on perky ears and hop around? Be sure to watch the video!

Mattie - Class of 2010

I recently photographed Mattie for her high school senior photos. She was a lot of fun to work with and rocked out the poses like a super model. Mattie plans on attending college for photography. So of course then the feature photo of the blog had to be the one below. I love it! The photo captures Mattie and a few of her antique cameras that she one day will have in her studio. (I think this is a must for all photography studios!) Be sure to watch the video to see more of my many favorites. I especially like the first photo in the video. Tia - Class of 2010

Tia, a senior graduating in 2010 came to the studio for her senior photo session. She is very artistic and creative so I had to be sure we had a creative photo session. After graduation Tia plans on attending college for fashion marketing or journalism. Sounds exciting! There were so many photos that I love from the session but I had to choose only one to feature for this blog post. The below photo is my choice. I love this photo because I simply love ballet. It brought a lot of memories back to me. Another reason that this is one of my favorites is because it reminds me of the paintings of my favorite artist Edgar Degas. He even painted ballerinas in a similar costume. Be sure to watch the video of this very stylish senior!

Charlene and Jamie

Charlene and Jamie are getting married this coming June and I recently photographed their engagement session. They were a great couple to work with and we are very excited to photograph their upcoming wedding. The feature photo below is one of my favorites from the session. The couple really likes nature and we went to the river to get a few photos. I love how there is still some snow on the water. Cooper

Cooper came to the studio for her 5 year old photos. This girl was way too fun to photograph. She is so full of energy and has some pretty awesome dance moves. We made sure to get a few photos of them and a couple of some silly faces. The feature photo below is one of my favorites from the session. Gage and Grady - Eggstra Special Easter

Gage and Grady came to the studio for the Eggstra Special Easter session. They were decked out in some pretty cute spring outfits. Gage is 4 and Grady is almost a 1 year old. We had fun talking about fish and Gage showed me how he sits like a man. It was pretty cute! Be sure to watch the video!

Birthday Girl Erinn

Birthday girl Erinn came to the studio to celebrate her first birthday. This little cutie was so happy and full of smiles. We had to celebrate her very first birthday in style with a pink tutu and birthday hat! It was so fun to watch her eat her birthday cake. She dove right in! The feature photo from the session is one of my favorites from the cake ones. You just have to smile when you see her with two big handfuls of cake and a huge smile! Kimberly and Kory

We will be photographing Kimberly and Kory's wedding this fall and I was excited to get to know the couple a little better and photograph them for their engagement portraits. Kimberly and Kory were high school sweethearts and have been together since they were 15. How sweet! They were a great couple to work with and they even got a little adventurous with me and laid in the cold, cold snow. Marissa - Class of 2010

Marissa recently had her senior photos taken at the studio. She was a lot of fun to photograph. Marissa plans on attending college for meteorology. Nicole and Stephanie - Class of 2010

Nicole and Stephanie came to the studio to get their senior photographs taken. Since they are twins, we definitely had to get a few of the girls together. The session with the twins was a lot of fun. Lydia and Mike

For Lydia and Mike's engagement session we traveled and went on location in downtown St. Paul. We always enjoy going to different locations and we absolutely love the places that Lydia and Mike picked out. Mike and Lydia are such a nice couple and wonderful to work with. They are getting married in November of this year and we cannot wait to photograph their wedding. The feature photo below is our favorite from the session. We love it!! It has such a timeless feel. Kayla and Nate

On Saturday, we photographed the wedding of Kayla and Nate. We traveled to the small town of Granville located in northwestern Iowa. It was a beautiful March wedding filled with elegant details. Elliott - Class of 2010

We traveled to an awesome location by Redwood Falls, MN and all I have to say is that this photo session was extreme!! There were jumps, turns, and maybe a few screams. Katelyn, a sweet six month baby, came to the studio to see me and have her 6 month photos taken. I photographed Katelyn right before she turned three months and I cannot believe how big she has gotten! She is just a sweetie and has such a cute smile.
