Leeann and Brady

On Saturday, May 29th, we traveled to Brookings, SD to photograph the wedding of Brady and Leeann. The wedding was beautiful with incredible details. The couple, the wedding party, and the family were a joy to work with with. We were able to capture some breathtaking photographs of the couple at the McCrory gardens and some super cute photos of the couple at the baseball diamond. Izabelle

Today is Izabelle's 1 year birthday! Happy Birthday Izabelle! Yesterday Izabelle came to the studio for her one year photo shoot. She is just such a cutie and I loved all her pink clothes. We took some photos downtown, at the park, and of course inside with a birthday cake!! The photo below is one of my favorites from the session. Her smile is just precious! Thayden and Sierra

Today Thayden and Sierra came to see me and have some photos taken. Thayden is now three years old and his baby sister Sierra is 3 months old. The two of them came to see me when Sierra was only three weeks old. They both have grown a lot! We took a bunch of photos inside and outside. They both did super! Caleb and Brynne

Caleb is three years old and his sister Brynne just turned one. These two are big hockey fans and love the Minnesota Wild! They came to see me at our new studio for their birthday sessions. Molly and Mike

We traveled on location to Sioux Falls to shoot Molly and Mike's engagement session. The locations of choice for the session included the Falls Park, the Japanese Garden, and the Sertoma Butterfly House. Mike and Molly are such a fun couple and were so enjoyable to work with! We had a great time. The feature photo below is perhaps my favorite engagement photo ever! I love it!! The photo was taken at the beautiful Falls Park. (we even got a few photos with the beautiful butterflies there!) We are looking forward to Mike and Molly's wedding in 2011!

Braylon and Aaliyah

Braylon and Aaliyah, adorable brother and sister, both celebrated their birthday and came to the studio to capture them 1 year older. Braylon is three years old and Aaliyah just turned one! We got outdoors and took some super cute urban photos of the two. My favorite from their session is below. I love their little bare feet in the steps in the alley and Aaliyah's expression. Kendra and Brett

I recently photographed Kendra and Brett for their engagement photographs. They are a great couple and I had a wonderful time photographing them. The day of their session was a chilly, rainy spring day. That didn't stop us from getting wonderful portraits. We went outdoors for some in a nearby park and downtown. The bottom feature photo from the session (Yes, there are two. I just couldn't pick one!) is a beautiful shot of the couple downtown. I just love the umbrella!! The second feature photo from the blog is one taken from the diner scene in the Lyon County Museum. The museum is right next door to the studio and I have always wanted to take an engagement couple there. This photo from the dinner is a definite favorite! We can't wait to photograph Kendra and Brett's wedding later this summer. Be sure to watch the slideshow for more!

Marissa and Karissa

Marissa and Karissa came to the studio for a fun birthday session. The two twins are going to be 5 years old and are going to have a very fun circus birthday! They came in with their bright colored birthday outfits. The tutus and flowers were too cute!! I love all the bright colors! The photo below is one of my favorites from the session. Emma

Emma previously came to the studio for her 9 month photographs and recently came back for her 1 year session. Has this little cutie sure grown in those three months! She now loves shoes and purses and of course is full of energy! The photo below is my favorite from her session. I love her bright colored outfit. Be sure to watch her video!
